We welcome undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing research in our group at the AMED laboratory.
Ph.D. Applicants:
The Ph.D. degree is offered jointly with the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Applicants to the program are admitted to both Ph.D. programs of UC San Diego and SDSU, and graduates receive separate Ph.D. degrees from both Institutions. The student will work on the fabrication of various conducting and semiconducting materials for a wide range of energy devices. Candidates with a background in Mechanical Engineering/Materials Engineering/Chemical Engineering/ and Physics are encouraged to apply. knowledge of thin film deposition and being familiar with computational/simulation software is a plus.
